Accreditation |
Event Organisers shall provide all Organising
Committee members, CEV Officials, VIP’s, athletes, referees, technical
staff, court personnel, volunteers, etc. with official accreditation
cards and make sure that only people with valid accreditation card are
allowed access to restricted areas. |
International
Transportation |
Athletes (or/and National Federations) are responsible for their own
international and domestic airfare and for any further expenses such
as visa or airport taxes. Athletes (or/and National Federations) are
requested to apply early enough for their visas, whenever needed. |

Local
Transportation |
Transportation for Main Draw Athletes
between HERAKLEION “KAZANTZAKIS” International Airport
and the
Official Hotels is organised by the Event Organisers. Athletes are
responsible to send their travel information via fax or email by
latest Friday 4 July, 14:00 hours Greek time (11:00 GMT) to the Event
Office: Fax. +30 21 09 21 16 45, email cevrethymno@volleyball.gr
Local Transportation of accompanying persons is
under their own responsibility.
For participants arriving at the International
Airport of CHANIA, transportation is not provided but there is a bus
for Olympic Airways passengers to Rethymnon. Alternatively regular
buses are available from the BUS CENTRE of CHANIA to Rethymnon,
departing every hour from 06.00 to 21:00 hours.
A taxi from the airport of Chania to Rethymnon
would cost approximately €40 or double that, if after midnight. |

hotel accommodation (double rooms) and meals.

Playing system:
Rally Point System 2 out of 3 sets as follows:
First and second sets:
21 points; switch every 7 points; one technical time-out of 30s at third court
switch (sum of 21 points).
Third eventual set:
Switch every 5 points, one time-out per team.
All sets win by 2 points.
Intervals between sets to be of 1 minute.
